Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we went over to Nanu and Kay's. Uncle David was in town. We had a great dinner and opened gifts. Carter got lots of fun toys. A workbench, Buzz Lightyear, and his Spaceship. We had lots of fun talking and laughing. Then we went home to get ready for Santa. Carter wanted to help bake the cookies. He even had to try them out to make sure they were good enough for Santa. He was pretty excited, but we finally got him to bed so Santa could come bring all his toys.

December

A couple of December pictures. I had tried really hard to get a cute picture of Carter in front of the Christmas tree. I did get a couple making his big cheese face, but I never ended up getting Christmas cards sent out. The month went by way too fast and I wasn't feeling the greatest. I will have to get more on top of that next year. The other couple of pictures are from out trip to Silver Dollar City. It was actually pretty nice weather so the crowd was big. Carter was able to ride a couple of rides too. We enjoyed some good food and they had a Christmas parade.

Late November 2011

We finally got our computer and the camera software working again. I am usually behind, but this is pretty bad even for me. Then I realized I basically got no pics of Thanksgiving!! SO here are just a couple of pics of Thanksgiving then of Carter and Henry when we went to P3 pottery store in Spfld. The boys both made something for their grandparents. What a cute place. We will definitely be going back soon.

One More Caldwell!!!

Once again it has been awhile since I have posted. This time I do have two good excuses. First of all we are expecting baby #2 in early August. Sooooo, I have been tired and I figure sleeping takes priority over everything else! We are also so excited, including Carter, he can't stop talking about it. We found out just a few days before Thanksgiving. I feel so blessed and could not be more excited to add to our little family. I can not believe I am already 12 weeks, this week. It already seems to be flying by. I was a little nauseaus here and there, but nothing like the first time. We have also bought a new house, so many changes coming up this year. And my second excuse is our computer won't let me upload any of my pictures from the last couple of months! Hopefully Clay we be able to get that fixed soon. My goal is to get up to date this weekend. I know these next few months are going to be very busy! So excited for all that is in store for us!

Baking Day with Grandma and Mom

On November 12th Grandma came over and we made, fudge (peanut butter and chocolate), sugar cookies, rice crispy treats, and pecan tassies. It was a good time. We tried to learn all of Grandma's baking secrets. You were lots of help, especially with the sugar cookies.

Novemeber 2011

I got a couple of cute pics of Henry and Carter when Henry and Aunt Christy came over to visit one weekend. We bought them matching coats for winter. Carter also had to try on mom's glasses. He is so silly!

Happy Halloween

Buzz Lightyear and little monkey. Halloween was a lot of fun this year. Carter went Trick or Treating for the first time. We stopped by Nanu and Kay's, my mom and dad, and Aunt Vickie's house where Clay's family was. He would go up to the houses and forget what to say, but he loved getting the candy. He did get the hang of it more toward the end. He got way too much candy for a little guy so we have had to ration it out. He has talked about it ever since. He loved being Buzz Lightyear because he loves all the Toy Story movie. He is at a really fun age with all of the holidays. It is such a great time of year!
