Mommy's 30th birthday!

This picture was actually from a couple of nights before, but too cute not to include,
Carter and momma. I can't believe how big he is getting.
Four cousins all sitting together.
My precious little nephew.
This picture represents the whole night. Carter would not sit still for one second!

On Feb 4th I turned 30. It just doesn't seem possible. So far I haven't taken it too hard. I am excited about my thirties. SO many exciting things to come. My twenties treated me well. I can say I learned a lot, and often times the hard way. I feel lucky and blessed for where I am in my life today. I have a wonderful support system of family and friends. I have a good job to go to, and even better a beautiful family to come home to!

18 month Check Up

On Feb 7th we had your 18 month check-up. Because of the change in Insurance we went back to Cox and started with another doctor. The location is convenient for us and she came highly recommended. Carter did very good at his check-up and really liked his new doctor. Luckily he did not have to have any shots, so that was nice for a change.

Stats

Height: 34 in. (90th %)

Weight: 27.6 lbs (75th %)

Another good well baby check up!

Snow Storm Feb 1, 2011

Carter watching the snow fall the night before. He says, "snow, snow"
Getting ready to go outside!!!
What is this stuff.
Whoa, momma threw up a bunch of snow in the air.
Trying to do a snow angel.

It snowed about 9 inches in Spfld. Mom was off work for two days and dad worked from home. We had fun in our PJ's. We have been lazy and basically played for the past two days. What a nice break in the middle of the week...especially my birthday week!

Time to Eat

We love spaghetti...but it sure makes a big mess.

Not sure what is so funny.
Eating some dinner...
...oops we have a cheerio on our face.

Just a few Janurary Pictures...17 months old

Look at those big brown teary eyes, so sad.
Ha ha...this look and hair crack me up.
Now that is one big smile.
Someone knows they are getting in to something that they shouldn't....momma's I-phone, one of our favorite toys.
This is what dad has to do when we are in a bad mood! Drag us around on a blanket, works every time.

I unfortunately did not get the camera out as much as usual in January, but still managed to get some cute pictures. Carter is getting so big, it is unbelievable! Every day he can do more than the previous day. His speech has taken off this month. He is starting to really talk. Most of the time though his response is NO...we are continuing to work on that. He also has a tendency to throw things to. Our poor remote controls have seen better days.

Swimming lessons -January 5, 11

Lounging back.
Look at that hair! Cracks me up!
Yay, I escaped the pool!
Cousin Henry and Aunt Christy are in our swim class.
Going down the slide.

Carter is now taking his second swim class series. We took it last spring when he was a little guy, but now with him being older it is so different. The first class he was a little scared. He was not sure what to think. He loved the plastic balls and has to have at least two in his hands at all times. He is the oldest one, so he is more vocal than the others. He also yells no, when the teacher says, "It is time to sing a song." He did really well and definitely loves the water.
