Memorial Day Weekend

We spent Memorial Day weekend at the lake with the Longs and Sims. We had some good times and also ate some great food. Carter played with Hayden all weekend. The water was very cold, but we all braved it for a bit so Carter could get in.

Carter was being silly before we went down to the dock.
Picture with mom on the boat. He actually fell asleep on my lap at one point. He sure does love the water! It was a fun way to kick off the summer.

May 11 Pics --- 22 months old

Look at him strike a pose. He is too funny!
Some pictures of Carter in our bed. He loves to come and hang out in our bed on Saturday and Sunday mornings. He is too funny!

Even though I don't look so great he was just looking too sweet so I posted the pic anyways. That sweet smile melts my heart every time!

May Days...22 months old

Look mom it is easier to eat the yogurt if you stick your whole hand in it...then just stick your whole hand in your mouth. He can be so silly!!! Yogurt is still one of his favorites.

Before bed time one night dad combed his hair to the side. He looked so cute so I had to take a pic. He is so silly before bed. He knows when it is time and tries to do everything to stall the process. How did my little boy grow up so fast??

Man the humidity is crazy on his little curls!

Carter is doing so many new things each day it is hard to keep up. The craziest thing is just how much he can talk. Pretty much everything we say he repeats. Most of the time it is cute, but we now have to be extremely careful everything we say. He likes to tell us exactly what he is doing...kick soccer ball, or push momma... Oh and the personality is just oozing out of him. He can be so silly sometimes. I love his looks when he knows he is doing something he shouldn't...that sly smile and looking out of the corner of his eye. When we ask him his name he says, "car car". I love this little guy!

Couponing

I do not normally post on anything besides about Carter, but I thought I would take a minute to write about something I have been doing for the last few months. I know it sounds crazy, but I do really love to coupon. I have always been kind of cheap, but after taking some classes and doing some of my own research I have found ways to save money. When I first started I definately admit I would just buy things because I had a coupon, but more recently I have actually gotten better at it. In just a few months I have started to slowly stock up on toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, lotion, and other toiletry items. It is a hobby I actually like doing. I know that with the new Extreme Couponing show that it is definitely getting more competitive. I am not out to by 50 or 100 of anything. If I find a great sale I get one maybe two things. It is just nice to get things that you need and a very reduced price. It is very time consuming though. Between work, family, blogging, writing in my journal, housework, etc, it is hard to keep up with it all. At this point it is something that I enjoy doing and I hope I can keep it up!

21 months old--- Incredible Pizza Time

As a family we went to Incredible Pizza on the day Carter turned 21 months old. I had a coupon for a free buffet and Carter was free! Also his games are pretty cheap, so he got to play for awhile on just $5.
Someone thinks they are a big boy!
Choo choo train, he loved to ride on this one!

It was so fun to just go out to dinner and get to take Carter to play some games. It was a Wednesday night so there were not tons of other kids (which I really liked). We never had to wait on any of the rides. Mom and Dad even fit in a few games of skee ball and basket ball.

Easter Sunday

Now that is one cute picture with Papa, Grandma, and their grandboys.
This Easter Egg hunting is serious business. He was looking for chocolate I am pretty sure. He looked in all of his eggs until he found what he was wanting.

Not the best pic ever, but this was the only one I got with Aunt Christy and Cousin Henry.
Momma loves her little Easter bunny!
Dying eggs. Carter actually thought it was pretty fun...
but silly boy was trying to eat them.

Our little family.

We had a very nice Easter despite the crappy weather. It basically rained the entire day without stopping. We went to church and Carter cried in the nursery until Clay went and got him out. He did actually sit with us for the entire sermon. I can't say I minded holding my little guy all through church. We had lunch with my family and dinner with Clay's. Another wonderful holiday. We are so extremely blessed to have loving and caring families. Carter is one loved little boy!

Mid-April pics

Daddy and Carter reading a bedtime story
The first part of April Carter got his first big boo-boo, So I just had to take a picture of it. Poor little guy, but he didn't even cry much.
Carter sitting at his new desk and playing with mom's cell phone. One of Carter's favorite things to do it play with cell phones. I have recently downloaded a couple of children's learning games that he likes to play. He accidentally shuts it off and hands it back to me saying...more play momma.
