First Big Boy Hair Cut- Feb 20

This is Carter and dad in the waiting area before he got his haircut. He does seem pretty concerned about what was going on.
He would not sit in the seat on the booster...so we put him on Clay's lap instead. He did great with that.
Not sure if this is the first, second, or third sucker...but they were necessary to get him to sit still.
This is him almost done. We didn't go too short because I just couldn't bare no curls, but Jen (Clay's hairdresser and family friend) did a great job giving him a good trim. We couldn't have asked for a better boy!

18 MONTHS! Growing Up.

Now that is a sweet smile!
I love this one too, and your hair is completely out of control.
Wrestling with Ellie. Poor puppy...but you guys have fun together.
Ha ha, your hair is completely out of control.
Reaching for the camera. This happens almost every time I try to take pictures.

I know I keep on saying this, but wow how fast you are growing up. Every day there is something new and different. You continue to talk more each day. You are starting to call most of the family by name (which melts their hearts). When either grandma or grandpa are around you won't go to anyone else. I think it might be because they spoil you so much. I still think you are a wonderful toddler, but I am rather biased. You definitely have your moments, but most of the time you are a sweetheart. The past month or so we have done timeouts and they have worked pretty well. You did have a slight melt down in Kohl's, but luckily Grandma Morgan was there to help you look for Big Bird. You are still eating good most of the time, but it can be hit or miss. Some of your favorites are chicken nuggets, peas, mac and cheese, waffles, pancakes, apples, bananas, graham crackers, and of course milk. We are also very thankful that you have only one cold all winter long. We have been blessed with a healthy boy!

Mommy's 30th birthday!

This picture was actually from a couple of nights before, but too cute not to include,
Carter and momma. I can't believe how big he is getting.
Four cousins all sitting together.
My precious little nephew.
This picture represents the whole night. Carter would not sit still for one second!

On Feb 4th I turned 30. It just doesn't seem possible. So far I haven't taken it too hard. I am excited about my thirties. SO many exciting things to come. My twenties treated me well. I can say I learned a lot, and often times the hard way. I feel lucky and blessed for where I am in my life today. I have a wonderful support system of family and friends. I have a good job to go to, and even better a beautiful family to come home to!

18 month Check Up

On Feb 7th we had your 18 month check-up. Because of the change in Insurance we went back to Cox and started with another doctor. The location is convenient for us and she came highly recommended. Carter did very good at his check-up and really liked his new doctor. Luckily he did not have to have any shots, so that was nice for a change.

Stats

Height: 34 in. (90th %)

Weight: 27.6 lbs (75th %)

Snow Storm Feb 1, 2011

Carter watching the snow fall the night before. He says, "snow, snow"
Getting ready to go outside!!!
What is this stuff.
Whoa, momma threw up a bunch of snow in the air.
Trying to do a snow angel.

It snowed about 9 inches in Spfld. Mom was off work for two days and dad worked from home. We had fun in our PJ's. We have been lazy and basically played for the past two days. What a nice break in the middle of the week...especially my birthday week!

Time to Eat

We love spaghetti...but it sure makes a big mess.

Not sure what is so funny.
Eating some dinner...
...oops we have a cheerio on our face.
