Carter's Latest Activities

We have been so busy lately. It seems like it is getting harder to find time to post things. I haven't just written in a while so I thought I would. Next week he will be SIX months old and I will be 29. I just can't believe how much this last year has changed my life. Carter is the biggest blessing. He giggles/laughs all the time now. He has the cutest smile. His whole face lights up every time he smiles. His favorite activities are: playing in his bouncer, figuring out how to sit up, figuring out how to get everyone's attention (which isn't hard), eating lots of milk, grinning at Ellie...just to name a few. He is growing up so much. It seems like each day he gets bigger. He is so interested in everything around him now. He still eats about 5 times a day, which is a schedule he has been on for awhile. (7, 11, 3, 6, 8:30). With rice cereal 1-2 times a day. He either nurses or has an 8 oz bottle. We are so fortunate that nursing has been going so well, and I plan to continue to a year if possible. He sleeps 9pm to 7am most nights. Sometimes a little less and occasionally there has been some 11 hour nights. Besides one small cold at the beginning of January he has been very healthy. These past six months have been wonderful! I can not wait for all the new steps he will take soon, but not too soon! He is growing up so fast. We are just trying to treasure every moment.

He looks so sweet in this one.

We had a wonderful Christmas. Carter is so blessed to have so many people that love him. We got to enjoy great company and good food. As always, Carter was the center of attention. He got tons of awesome new toys and many new outfits. It seems like he is growing up way to fast.

It has been forever since I posted. These pictures are a couple of our favorite from November. Things have been great, but very busy! I can't believe how fast time flies. I always try to update my blog, but somehow never get to it. Carter is such a blessing! I maybe biased, but he is so sweet.

It was a really fun Halloween. We had family and friends stop by to see Carter in his adorable green dinosaur! He helped hand out candy to all the kids. The first of many fun Halloweens. We love Carter so much. He is the best thing in the world! We are so blessed!!!

So sweet!
Sticking out his tongue at mom.

I have been so bad about updating my blog. I have loved every minute with Carter! He is such a sweet baby and changes each day. He is really starting to show his personality. I think he is going to be very easy going like his dad. October has come and gone. It all seems to go by so fast. We can't wait for holiday time. There will be lots of cute pictures to post.

Two month Check Up

During his weight check
Waiting for the Doctor to come in.

After the shots! Poor baby! It was so sad.

We had Carter's two month check up on Monday Sept. 28th. Wow! These last two months have flown by. He is growing so fast and changing literally every day.
His Stats were:

Weight: 11 lbs 12 oz. (50th Percentile)
Length: 23.9 in. (75th Percentile)
Head Circumference: 15.5 cm. (30th Percentile)

He is very tall, average weight, and small head. I think he is just perfect. I appreciate all the advice I have gotten from all of my friends. These past two months have been the best. It is so fun to be a mom, but challenging at times as well. We love all of our family and friends!
