We had a very nice Easter despite the crappy weather. It basically rained the entire day without stopping. We went to church and Carter cried in the nursery until Clay went and got him out. He did actually sit with us for the entire sermon. I can't say I minded holding my little guy all through church. We had lunch with my family and dinner with Clay's. Another wonderful holiday. We are so extremely blessed to have loving and caring families. Carter is one loved little boy!

Last couple of weeks of March
After looking back on these pictures I remembered that Carter had taken a nap on Saturday, which was March 26th. When I had went in to get him he had stripped down to completely nothing. He had taken off his full w/footies pj's and diaper and all. Amazingly enough he did not pee in the bed. I have no clue what made him do that, and he has not done it since. I would love to know what is going on in that little head of his. He is too funny!!!
New Orleans
I had a work conference from March 19-23 in New Orleans. This was the longest that I had ever been away from Carter. New Orleans was fun and I got to experience a lot of the local favorites. I went with a couple of girls from work. We tried Hurricanes from Pat O'Briens, Beignets from Cafe Du Monde, Hand Grenade from Tropical Isle, and lots of yummy New Orleans food. I did also learn a lot at the conference too. Dadda stepped in to full time Mommy and Daddy roll and did a wonderful job, even though he did get dinner cooked for him every night. I couldn't believe how much I missed my family. It was really busy the whole time, so I didn't have time to think about missing my boys.

First Big Boy Hair Cut- Feb 20
18 MONTHS! Growing Up.
I know I keep on saying this, but wow how fast you are growing up. Every day there is something new and different. You continue to talk more each day. You are starting to call most of the family by name (which melts their hearts). When either grandma or grandpa are around you won't go to anyone else. I think it might be because they spoil you so much. I still think you are a wonderful toddler, but I am rather biased. You definitely have your moments, but most of the time you are a sweetheart. The past month or so we have done timeouts and they have worked pretty well. You did have a slight melt down in Kohl's, but luckily Grandma Morgan was there to help you look for Big Bird. You are still eating good most of the time, but it can be hit or miss. Some of your favorites are chicken nuggets, peas, mac and cheese, waffles, pancakes, apples, bananas, graham crackers, and of course milk. We are also very thankful that you have only one cold all winter long. We have been blessed with a healthy boy!
